About

BIO

Mary Louise Robinson is a composer and sound designer based out of St. Louis. Beginning her artistic journey as a classical singer, she decided one fateful college semester to enroll in a music composition course and has never looked back since then. Her love for sound and storytelling would then lead her to pursue music composition and sound design for a large variety of mediums, including theatre, audio drama, and games.

She has had the privilege of working with many professional and collegiate theater companies, including Heart of America Shakespeare, The Coterie, Kansas City Actors Theatre, Missouri State University, and Webster University. Her work as a composer and sound designer can also be heard regularly on the Kansas City Actors Radio Theatre podcast channel. In addition to commissioned projects, she writes and produces royalty-free music under her musical pseudonym Duck Duck Music, which is available to content creators in need of music for their work.

When not engaged in her work as a freelancer, she spends her time indulging in music, podcasts, video games, theatre, film, books, television, concerts, and any other form of entertainment that inspires her and her own material. She also enjoys singing, playing piano, rock climbing, trail biking, recreational sports, games, food, and spending time with her family and friends.
